We have over 100 eAudiobooks that you can download.  Bring up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel, I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella, The Girl You left Behind by Jojo Moyes and Matter by Iain M Banks are just a small selection of what is available.

A Game of Thrones Series, The Man in the High Castle by Phillip K Dick, Me Before You by Jojo Moyes, Clean Eating Alice, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Personal by Lee Child are just some of the eBooks we currently have. 

Note to Parent and Carers - There is unrestricted access to the eBook and eAudio website and downloading of titles. Please be aware of this when allowing your children to use the service. Parents and carers remain responsible for what they allow their children to download.

Using eBooks and eAudio

To use this service you will need to download an app if  you are going to use it on a mobile device.  If you are going to use it on a PC, Mac or laptop you will need to download some additional software.   Find and download the right app or software for your device.

How does it work?

  • When downloading your eBook or eAudiobook you can select the amount of time you wish to borrow the item for ranging from 1 to 21 days. There are no overdue fees and if you finish early you can return it early!  
  • To use the service on your device please click here to find and download the right app. 
  • If the item you want is not available you can reserve it free of charge and you will be alerted when it is available for download. Please note reservations count as one of your loans. 
  • You can use OneClickdigital on your tablet, mobile and PC. Please note this service cannot be used on the Library PC’s.  If you use the OneClick app your eBooks and eAudiobooks can also be read/played offline once they have been downloaded to your device.  You only need one app for both eBooks and eAudiobooks.
  • You only need to register once to use both eBook and eAudiobook service. Once you have registered you can log in with the account details you have set up. 
  • You do need to be a library member to use this service.  You can join by filling in this online form.  Your library card with your number will then be posted to you and you can start to use this service.  Alternatively you can visit any Northumberland Library and join there.  Please note if you join online your temporary ID will not work.
  • When you visit the website to see the full selection of eBooks and eAudiobooks available if you click on "Browse" in the top left corner of the screen and then either select "All eAudio Titles" or "All eBook Titles" depending on which you require.
