Libraries are great places to learn things. Whether you are studying or looking for a new hobby we have books and premium online resources on a vast range of topics. You can also use our computers and WiFi - and if you need a helping hand we have Digital Champions who will give you one-to-one tuition and advice on computers and the Internet.
Non-Fiction Books - From biographies to history, cookery to crafts, sports to gardening - we have a wide range of non-fiction books to choose from. If the book you want is somewhere else, you can reserve it to be sent to your library free of charge.
eMagazines - Library members can download eMagazines for free. You can choose from over 30 popular magazine titles. List of titles include: Good Housekeeping UK, Cosmopolitan UK, Kitchen Garden, BBC Good Food, Digital Photographer, Health and Fitness, 25 Beautiful Homes and Astronomy.
Non Fiction eBooks and eAudiobooks - Library members can download eBooks and eAudiobooks for free. Books include biographies, crafts and history.
Computers for Beginners - Do you want to learn how to use a computer? Are you curious about the Internet? Why not book a one-to-one session with one of our Digital Champions? The sessions are free of charge and you can attend as a one-off or for a few weeks.
Online Resources - The library subscribes to premium online resources so that members can use them for free. Whether you want to research your family history, find a job, pass your driving theory test or do some research, find premium information with one of our resources.
Health - Libraries are good for your health! We have books on physical and mental health, nutrition, fitness, sports and much more. We also work with partner organisations such as The Alzheimer's Society to provide events and activities in the library.
Find a Job - The library is a great place to go if you're looking for a job - we have free computer access, great online resources and books on CVs and applications.
Learn Something New - If you'd like to learn how to cook or do a craft, use a computer, play an instrument... there's a book to help.
Family History and Local History - Our libraries have specialist collections including books, microfilm and maps that can help you to research your family or local history.
