Do you need help using a computer?
Do you want to learn how to use a computer? Are you curious about the Internet? Why not book a one-to-one session with one of our Digital Champions? The sessions are free of charge and you can attend as a one-off or for a few weeks.
If your library has WiFi you can bring in your own tablet, iPad, laptop, phone or other device to learn.
Whether you have a goal in mind or just want to find out more about computers, our Digital Champions can help. Learn what you can do on the Internet – how you can save money and time online, find useful information, research your family history, keep in touch with your friends and much more. Our sessions are tailored to what you want to learn. We have Digital Champions at the following libraries:
Could you be a digital champion?
Do you have basic digital skills, are patient and a good listener?
If you have 2 hours or more to spare a week during your local library’s opening hours you could be a Digital Champion.
Whether you want to meet new people, help the local community or add to your CV, being a Digital Champion is a great experience.
Being a Digital Champion is incredibly rewarding – many of our clients have gone from being terrified of a computer to becoming the proud owner of a laptop or tablet! Our volunteers have even helped people in their 90s master the basics.
Digital Champions run one-to-one sessions in their local library during library opening hours. There will always be library staff present for additional support and full training is given to our Digital Champions.
