3 Aug The Summer Reading Challenge is well under way in our libraries now with lots of fun events taking place. 1566 children so far have signed up to the Summer Reading Challenge this year. The top three libraries for children joining are: 1. Prudhoe Library 2. Ashington Library 3. Widdrington Library There is still time to sign up and take part in this year's challenge. Children can sign up at any Northumberland library till the 26 August. A fantastic 163 children have also joined the library for the first time in order to complete the Summer Reading Challenge. The top three libraries for new members are: 1. Ponteland Library 2. Prudhoe Library 3. Blyth Library 72 Children have even completed the challenge but don't worry if your child has not yet. You have till the 9 September to complete the challenge. Finally, so far the schools with the greatest number of pupils taking part are: 1. Grange View Church of England First School 2.
