Lynemouth Library has relocated to Lynemouth Day Centre as of Mon 19 Feb. The entrance is to the front of the building. Opening hours will be as follows: Monday 10am-12pm, 12.30pm-4.30pm and Thursday 3pm-5pm. No public PCs are available but free WiFi is available if customers wish to bring their own devices.

Northumberland Library members can now access audiobooks, magazines, and eBooks all in one easy-to-use mobile app.  Mobile apps are available for Apple™, Android™, and Kindle Fire™ devices.  It can be found by searching for "RBdigital" in your app's store.  Previously two different apps were needed to use eMagazines and eBooks/eAudio.

  • When downloading your eBook or eAudiobook you can select the amount of time you wish to borrow the item for ranging from 1 to 21 days. There are no overdue fees and if you finish early you can return it early! eBooks include The Girl on the Train, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and  A Game of Thrones.  Our selection is updated on a regular basis too!
  • You can choose from over 20 popular magazine titles.  List of titles include: Good Housekeeping UK, Kitchen Garden, BBC Good Food, Digital Photographer, 25 Beautiful Homes and more.  Once you have downloaded the magazine you can keep it for as long as you wish.

  • You do need to be a library member to use this service.  You can join by filling in this online form.  Your library card with your number will then be posted to you and you can start to use this service.  Alternatively you can visit any Northumberland Library and join there.
